With the help of our volunteers, in 2024 alone, we have equipped 474+ kids with the essential swim education to decrease drowning rates across the U.S.

Our volunteers have allowed us to expand to serve our community outside of the pool to provide essential food sources to families in need.

We are nothing without our team and the high quality of lessons we provide is not only a testament to their training, but it also shows their hearts for the youth we serve. Every instructor, or "Hero" as we call them, is committed to giving their all for the young person in front of them.

Community events

Community events are the heart and soul of Tankproof. Our swim events go hand in hand with the experience we deliver through the events we put together. Whether it’s an after-swim lesson meet-up, an activation involving food distribution, or a concert – our goal is to gather our community and allow them to connect.

  • We’ll reach out within a week with an email and figure out the best way for you to get involved!

  • We have several different ways you can volunteer. During summer swim tour, we are looking for volunteers to commit to a 5 day program. This would be 1 hour lessons with some time on either side for set up.

    We also regularly do community aid events, Field Days for kids in Austin, and Disaster Relief efforts. Let us know how you’d like to be involved. Our Keep Austin Fed event in Austin is every Saturday morning and is around 2h long.
