Every Smile You See Here Is Because Of You 💚

Hi, y'all!

We’re so excited to share a quick recap from our recent swim lessons in Austin! What a week it was!

We hosted two sets of lessons: one public, and one with Todo Juntos. 

Across both, about 60 swimmers showed up eager to learn and grow in the water. Around 12 amazing volunteers stepped up as instructors to guide and support every kiddo, bringing energy, care, and skill to make sure everything ran smoothly throughout the lessons.
 

Here is a closer look at what your support made possbile:
 

Todo Juntos Lessons

🏊‍♂️ 30 swimmers learning to swim safely

🌊 24 of 30 of them never swam before

🚫 22 of 30 couldn’t float on their own when we started
 

Public Lessons

🏊 30 total swimmers signed up

🌊 50% had never taken lessons before

🚫 25 of 30 couldn’t confidently float independently when we started

👨‍👩‍👧 30% said they didn’t swim often as a family this summer

Because of your generosity, these kids had the opportunity to get in the water, learn important safety skills, and practice floating independently – all crucial steps toward becoming strong, safe swimmers.

The truth is…

This work only happens because of our incredible community, like the volunteers who give their time, families who trust us, and donors like you who believe in the power of water safety and connection. When we all come together, we create these life-changing opportunities for kids who need them most.
